AC Shadows Introduces Unexpected AoT Event for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre crossover event that defies conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Questline Revealed
According to the formal announcement, "A strange confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where whispers of prohibited rituals and terrifying transformations reverberate through the darkness." The narrative features a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a hidden cult.
The questline concentrates on "peculiar tests and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Changes
The teaser features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview finishes with a powerful scene showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the mission will obtain an unique katana together with numerous artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:

Latest Free Story Update
This release also brings the game's latest no-cost story content, titled "The Mystery."
